Bid types we accept

Some schools only enroll individual students; others (like camps or boarding programs) prefer to receive a single bid for an all-or-none block of seats from a group leader. Pick whichever you want to receive — you'll never see bids of the other type. You can change this any time from your dashboard.

Individual bids. A single student bidding for one course (and optionally accommodation) for themselves.Group bids. Individuals bidding on behalf of companies, groups of friends, or families for N identical courses/accommodation packages at once. All-or-none basis — accepting the bid means accepting the entire group; declining means rejecting the entire group.

Quality commitment

BidandStudy voluntarily adheres to the FELCA-GAELA guidelines for ethical international education. Please self-declare which of the following your school already delivers.

Qualified teachers. Our teachers hold recognized teaching qualifications (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or the local equivalent) and are trained for international students.Academic progress monitoring.We track each student's progress during the course and issue a certificate or report at the end.Extra-curricular activities. We offer cultural or social activities outside class hours (city tours, language cafés, excursions, etc.).

Accommodation & safeguarding

Students want clarity on where they will live and how far it is from class. If you host minors (under 18), this section is mandatory per international safeguarding standards.

Standard commission rates

Enter the standard commission rates you offer to recruitment agents. These become the "Agreed Rates" in your MSA and the basis we use to calculate the confirmation fee on each accepted bid. Students never see these numbers — they only see the total amount they pay.

How we collect our commission

Pick how you'd like us to receive the commission on each accepted bid. You can change this later from your dashboard. Most schools pick the first option — the student never sees the word "commission" nor the percentage, only an absolute "confirmation fee" shown at checkout.

Confirmation fee from studentRecommended

We collect the agreed commission directly from the student as a confirmation fee to secure the reservation. The student then pays the remaining balance directly to your school, in accordance with your payment guidelines.

Traditional invoice

The student pays 100% directly to your school. After the course starts, we invoice you for the agreed commission, payable within 30 days under standard agent terms.

Partnership agreement (MSA)

The Master Services Agreement is the formal contract between your school and BidandStudy. It covers commission, payment terms, refund policy and dispute mediation. Pick the path that works best for your school — you can always switch to our standard MSA later.
